This homeowner wanted a kitchen that reflected his personality. Being the space was small, there was not much opportunity to rearrange and the only direction to go was up.
With that in mind, Lyndsey was able to build the microwave into the pantry to keep it off of the counter or above the range. By removing the bulkhead (or soffit), Lyndsey was able to put in 39"-tall cabinets which gave the homeowner an additional shelf across the entire kitchen!
The homeowner loved how all of the colors came together. He wanted a restoration hardware inspired neutral palette for his kitchen. He also loves the glass cabinet and open shelves so he can display some of his personal decor.
Lyndsey loves the stove wall where the mantle hood and glass cabinetry are. This gives the kitchen a lot of personality. She also loves the look of the microwave built into the pantry. With photos in their showroom of this design, they have had several other clients request the same feature.
The homeowner came to Lyndsey with inspirations and ideas that allowed the design to soar. She loves a client with an artistic mind, willing to take risks!
