Entry: "The Washington Kitchen Gallery - Angelia Joy"
Designer: Angie Joy
Dealership: The Washington Kitchen Gallery
The rest of the story ...
The homeowner wanted an open concept and an updated look and feel. Angie, with The Washington Kitchen Gallery, improved the overall layout, removed a wall separating the kitchen and eating area, made space for a larger, paneled refrigerator, added a range hood, brought the cabinets to the ceiling, kept the existing floor, and incorporated a modern farmhouse style. The family also gained a larger pantry.
With the homeowner's family in mind, Angie moved the oven to the back wall, keeping it away from the kids' everyday path. In addition, adding more seating at the island was exactly what this busy family needed.
The paint with rustic alder Tawny is beautiful, yet not too formal, for a comfortable family environment. The kitchen is definitely the heart of this home with three small kiddos and lots of cousins nearby. Family time is frequent and they wouldn't have it any other way!

Love the new layout.
Creative idea for back of peninsula. Big difference from the original.
