Transitional Bath | Honorable Mention

Entry: "Flowers Bathroom"

Designer: Jennifer DeMeo Gribben

Dealership: DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen - Stuart, FL

The rest of the story ...

The homeowners were looking to create their dream bathroom and contacted DreamMaker at the recommendation of their neighbors.

The team ultimately removed an enclosed shower to create the "spa-like" atmosphere that was important to the homeowners. Cutting down the wall separating the shower and tub opened up the area, and adding a glass wall for natural light made the space that much more warm and welcoming. Removing the heavy soffits over the vanity really helped give the room a more spacious look and feel too.

The homeowners were impressed with the Oculus virtual reality headset that enabled them to virtually walk through their redesigned room. The team created 3-Dimensional drawings of the project in order to make this happen. The homeowners were amazed!

Comments from our judges ...

It is a very peaceful space. I like the bath, and opening the shower to create a large, two-person shower was a great idea in this space. Also, the barrier free drain.

I think this is a lovely bath with nice storage.

I love the color scheme, tile, textures, and choices.

Good looking bath.
