Foils and High-Gloss Acrylics
Prefer the simple look? Go for a solid-color foil or high-gloss acrylic surface. These classic surfaces are low maintenance, very durable, and will stand the test of time. ShowplaceEVO foils have a smooth, low-sheen surface and are available on our Duet slab and Slim Shaker doors. ShowplaceEVO high-gloss acrylics have an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) colored layer permanently fused with a clear, ultra-high gloss acrylic top layer. ShowplaceEVO offers high-gloss acrylic solid choices on Duet and patterns on Horizon D and Vienna D slab doors.

Textures
Looking for more texture? Consider these great choices: They have a tactile “grain” that can run either horizontally or vertically. It has the look and feel of real wood without the hefty price tag. Additionally, ShowplaceEVO textured melamine is water resistant, easy to clean, and stain resistant. Melamine surface choices are available on our Vienna TM and Horizon TM veneered slab doors, with the exception of the ShowplaceEVO textured melamine White option which is available on Duet only.

Seeking something with more variety? ShowplaceEVO’s straight-grain and wood veneers offer just that--choose from vertical or horizontal grains. All exotic and straight-grain finishes are available in satin sheen and matte sheen. If you desire a solid wood or solid paint look, choose our Milan and Novara veneer options.

Available on Horizon and Vienna door styles, ShowplaceEVO offers bamboo in Natural, Rockport, and Montana finishes, as shown below.

Walnut
Walnut will demonstrate some color variability between heartwood and sapwood and its grain can vary from straight to highly configured. Although walnut is steamed to help blend the heartwood/sapwood transition, a darker stain is recommended when less color variation is desired.
