Please tell us about yourself and your role at Showplace.
I have had a few different roles in my tenure at Showplace including design and sales. My primary role today is overseeing our National Sales and Marketing Departments, but I continue to wear many hats including an active role in product development.

What makes for good design in your opinion?
Balance, whether it is symmetrical or asymmetrical, balance is important to me. I also like designs that don’t allow for one component to be overpowering: I want people to walk into the space and say, “Wow! I love your kitchen!” Not, “I love your backsplash!”
What do you love about kitchen design?
The ability to take a space and make it unique to the home and individuals. There is always an opportunity to solve a problem or two.
