Heidi Polacek | Lincoln Cabinet


Heidi is originally from Hastings, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska Kearney in 2004 earning a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Kitchens and Baths. Prior to moving to Lincoln, Heidi worked at DreamMaker Kitchen & Bath in Grand Island, in addition to spending two years at the Home Depot Grand Island and Lincoln locations. Heidi began working at Lincoln Cabinet in October 2006 as a design assistant. She then moved into the office manager position and excelled in sales and design before becoming an owner in September 2016.

Heidi is active in the Home Builders Association of Lincoln Remodelers Council, participating in various events. Serving for eight years as a local NKBA board member, Heidi was secretary in 2008-2009, VP of chapter programs in 2010-2011, president of the Nebraska/Kansas Chapter in 2012-2013, and VP of professional development in 2014-2015. She has also served on the nominating committee for numerous years.
 
Heidi enjoys seeing a project from start to finish. Working with clients through the whole process, from initial design, product selection, and through completion gives Heidi a great sense of satisfaction as a designer. Her collaborative style allows for an open, engaging approach throughout the entire interior design process with strict attention to detail to keep projects running smoothly.
 
Heidi and Husband Karel have been married since 2012, and have two daughters, Savannah and Mabel. Heidi also spends time with her large extended family and enjoys cooking with her chef husband.

Recently, Heidi designed and remodeled their 1941 farmhouse kitchen and built an addition with a laundry, bedroom, and garage for their growing family.
