We define success by our relationships

From Paul’s Desk

By Paul Sova, CEO of Showplace Cabinetry

Despite a slow start to 2020, coping with the effects of a global pandemic, Showplace Cabinetry is experiencing strong sales as families across the continent enhance and remodel their homes. But a company can’t measure a successful year just by sales. Equally important are the relationships with customers, suppliers and employees who make success possible—even in challenging times.

Great relationships begin with our suppliers, our partners in manufacturing excellence. The reliable network of companies who provide hardwood, plywood, hardware and the materials we need to maintain an efficient flow of product know that we value their contribution to Showplace Cabinetry’s growth. We treat our vendors and professional services providers just like we treat our customers—and acknowledge their partnership in our process.

The value of relationships continues in our manufacturing plants, with employee-owners who want to come to work every day. Showplace has always fostered an environment that emphasizes our reliance on each other and encourages excellence at every level of building better cabinetry. Our employee-owners know that every job is important, and every member of the Showplace family is a vital part of our company.

We have always worked to be a cabinet manufacturer big enough to meet our customers’ needs—but personal enough to know each of them by name. We build relationships just like we build cabinets—with attention to detail and good, service-oriented communication. We’ve always worked hard to get to know our dealers, their associates and even their families. It’s not just about dollars and cents, cabinets and innovative design. For us, it’s about people.

When relationships are one measure of a company’s success, you know that company is in business for the long haul. Our corporate culture is about trusting each other and building friendships and loyalty. At Showplace Cabinetry, it’s all about treating people like family.

"We have always worked to be a cabinet manufacturer big enough to meet our customers’ needs—but personal enough to know each of them by name."
