The homeowners' home has a very "southern" feel that they were growing tired of. They were looking to update their guest bathroom to something more current while also maintaining a color palette that wouldn't deviate too much from their existing interior.
The homeowners wanted to add "visual interest" that folks would see immediately upon entering the small room.
The design team added a 4" deep wall with a texture mosaic tile directly behind the sink vanity. It definitely makes a bold statement and serves as the visual interest the homeowners were looking for.
The homeowners absolutely loved the texture mosaic behind the vanity sink, described above, in addition to the cabinet the design team designed below the sink to offer both open and closed storage solutions.
The use of both open and closed storage in the vanity is a highlight of this bathroom refresh. It was a simple way to update the overall look and it turned about absolutely gorgeous!
The homeowners are reputable architects in the area and the design team has collaborated with them on many client projects over the years. They are familiar with the design team's reputation for delivering beautiful remodeling projects and also aware of the quality cabinetry offered by Showplace.
The design team had never been asked to work on their personal home before and were thrilled when they asked the team to work with them on their guest bathroom.
