Entry: "Bright & Airy Master Suite"

The master suite and some living areas swapped places. My client had a vision to reconfigure her homes' floor plan to allow a remodeled bathroom, a new custom closet lounge, new master bedroom location, and a open floor plan between a dining room and game room. She wanted to have white Inset cabinetry of superior quality, with modern french details throughout the materials and decor.
While opening a wall to adjoin two rooms we discovered a height difference in the ceiling by a few inches. We were also challenged by some of the custom design requests by the client.
By adding a ceiling detail that matched others in the home, we were able to conceal the problem with an architectural detail and turn it into a positive. We relied on the Showplace design team to help us make sure that we nailed every measurement and custom detail necessary to bring my clients requests to life.
Not only did the homeowner love the satisfaction of seeing a project that was long dreamed of come to life, but she loves the increased function and togetherness that the end result has brought her family. Secondary to the function, but no less important, it's hard not to love the beauty of the cabinetry details, Parisian styled material selections, freestanding tub, and panoramic picture windows.
My favorite part of the project is the intensity of natural light flowing in from the massive windows and glass french doors and the sprawling mountain views. I also really enjoy the applied molding details and inset framing that add texture to the cabinetry, and the multitude of custom designed storage options.
